I entered the last car, last car door on the downtown 5 train on 14 st at about 8:12a. The train wasn't too crowed. A couple of people stood as did I. I turned to my right as I entered the car and stood in front of the person seated closest to the door. I looked at the woman. Woman? Yes woman, yes the hands....skirt..... a woman, but a witch. I mentally asked the woman do you practice black or white magic. Answer me! I watched to see if she would acknowledge me. Then quickly I realized...what the hell am I doing. I quickly sent out thoughts to protect me from an evil that might come my way. Once protected, I continued to obeserve this witch.
On any other day one would simply say this woman was Goth, but no she was more. She was Goth and then some. She wore combat like black boots with two silver zippers criss crossing the top instep of the boot. The witch wore a skirt that covered her knees. The nap of her skirt had a black cat look to it, where the fur lay flat toward her boots. The edge of the skirt had black lace. My eyes moved toward her stubby hands. Her skin was blotchy and toffee colored. Black chipped nail polish covered only her nail beds. Her wrists were decorated with leather and silver, Goth punk bracelets. Her hair was semi-breaded here and there alittle past her sholders. Two braids on either side had royal blue strands of hair intertwind with her on jet black hair. The long sleeve hooded jacket covered her face entirely. The woven material of the hood made it impossible to identify any facial features.
The witch sat there with her head slight bent downward. Is it just me or does anyone else think she is odd? Ah yes there is a woman standing to my right and she seems slightly aggitated. If we weren't in the last car, I think she would have moved. Move? Should I? Only one stop to go. We pulled into Brooklyn Bridge. The witch got up. She was about 5'2" in height. She was getting off the same stop I was. Any doubt of her being a witch disappeared. On her back she wore a black knapsack, but not any knapsack. The upper flap of the draw string cover had a 3 dimential cat or devil on it. I didn't look to hard for the fear of the beady red eyes that peered back.Thank goodness I was wearing my bolle sunglasses... no evil eye on me.
